Promotional Testing Rules
- There are two types of tests.
- DAN tests (black belts)
- GUP tests (colored belts)
- Black belt tests are regularly held twice a year or scheduled as needed.
- Tests are held on a frequency of 12 weeks depending on the program enrolled.
- The Head Instructors must recommend students qualified to test.
- Students must test when told by the Master Instructor.
- Students must be current in their monthly dues in order to test.
- Students scheduled to test must have forms and test fees turned in prior to testing date.
- Students must qualify to test by the effort put forth and minimum attendance as determined by the Head Instructors.
- Students must exhibit good techniques, class behavior, sportsmanship, and display respect at all times.
- Students must be portraying proper behavior at home, school and work.
- All results of tests are recorded. Certificates are issued by the Kicks for Christ Federation.
- If a student fails to pass, they must retest at the next testing period.
- Students testing must wear full, clean, approved uniforms.
- Students testing must be on time for the pretest warm up period.
- Students testing must be members of the Kicks for Christ Federation before the time of the test.
